Dan Weltin, Editor-in-Chief for Contracting Profits and Cleanlink talks with Dave about the Clean Building Expo held in Baltimore this March for the first time.
Both guys heard a number of attendees saying that it was great to have a show for them. That is, CBE is designed for the users, not distributors like the annual ISSA show.
Dan also brings up that the Mid Atlantic states normally do not travel to the ISSA show, so they really were there in force.
As for the Rock Star program, Dan proclaimed it was the highest attended session for the conference. Over 150 people packed the room, with more wanting in.
Engagement; it was the theme of the morning. "No one person wanted to sleep in this session," Dan commented.

Apparently, some podcasters have been wondering why we haven't been on the air, so Dave is here to catch you up.
Clean Buildings Expo, you heard about it on the last podcast from Dan Weltin. Mark from Ashley Furniture in Mississippi was there and had the Academy bring the first session of the Rock Star Program to them at the plant. Dave talks a bit about it here.
Triple S had the national conference in Arizona this past month and the Academy is now a Value Added Vendor of education. During the week, Dave tells us that 20 distributors signed up to be regional campuses. I'd stay tuned as there is surely more information on that to come.
ISSA and Mark Warner were in the house, literally, they were at GEM Supply using the Academy classroom for their Supervisors Bootcamp.
The Academy will be on the road with the Rock Star program to the GAPPA conference next week plus a full week in Texas during the middle of June.
Don't forget to check out the Academy here
